Doubles rules and regulations
- Competing in doubles category is only possible at 16 km distance.
- Men, female or mixed pairs can compete in doubles category.
- Each competitor recieves their start number with the name of the pair/team. Together they must run be recorded at the start, at all check points along the route and at the finish line.
- Doubles entry fee includes the same benefits as individual entry fee.
- The age of the youngest participant in pair is considered as the age category in rankings.
- At the registration doubles must choose a unique name they compete under.
- No UTMB Qualifying Points will be awarded in doubles category ali Competitors in doubles category are not eligible for UTMB Qualifying Points.
Start number acceptance
Start number acceptance is possible the day before the event at Dom Svoboda, Trg Franca Fakina 4, 1420 Trbovlje, between 5 pm and 7 pm or on the day of the event, one hour before the start. Competitors will be equipped with the chip. In case of loss of the chip, the competitor is obliged to pay the incurred costs in the amount of 55 €.

- Finisher medal for every participant. The best participants in individual races receive practical prizes.
General Terms and Conditions
- Each participant competes at their own responsibility.
- By paying the registration fee and signing the registration form, the participants accept the terms and conditions and agree to take part at their own risk (Parents or caregivers accept this responsibility for underage runners by signing the registration form).
- The signing of registration forms will take place at the registration service at the same time as the start number pick up.
- By signing the registration form each competitor agrees with traffic regulations and that in the event of personal injury and theft of the gear before, during, and after the competition, they will not bring any legal action or claim for damages against the organizer. The competitor shall be solely responsible for any such injuries and theft that may occur.
- The organizer shall not be liable for any damage made before, during and after the event.
- Runners must be in good physical shape.
- All runners must carry the mandatory gear. The mandatory gear will be checked at start number acceptance and randomly before the start and during the race.
- The race will take place in all weather conditions, unless the safety of the participants is at risk. In such case the organizers will decide upon cancellation of the event.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions. All participants will be notified in a timely manner.
- Due to difficulty of the race, runners under the age of 18 cannot take part in 30 and 50 km distances.
- All participants under the age of 18 are allowed to compete accompanied by their parents or caregivers. Parents or caregivers accept the responsibility for underage runners by signing the registration form.
- The route will be well marked. Aid stations, medical assistance and rescue team are provided on the route. The race staff (volunteers, firefighters) will be present at key points in order to direct the runners and take care of their safety.
- Should the route markings be defficient or missing, runners must report it at the nearest check point. In case you don’t see any route markings for more than 200 meters, return back to the last marking and re-check the possibility of continuing.
- In case of withdrawal during the competition, the participant must immediately notify the organizer (contact indicated on the start number).
- The organizer does shall not be liable for any damage or injury made by the competitors to themselves, to other competitors or to a third person.
- The organizer shall not be liable for any damage made to the running gear.
Penalties and Disqualifications
- Failure to follow the marked route. Each participant must be recorded at all checkpoints.
- Incomplete mandatory gear (organizer may check the mandatory gear at any time). Each participant must have and must show the mandatory gear when asked. If participants refuse to show the mandatory gear they will be disqualified.
- Disposal of trash on the route or next to it – disqualification.
- Use of shortcuts, unmarked paths, arrival to a check point or aid station from the wrong direction – at least one hour penalty for each irregularity.
- Use of transportation during the event – disqualification.
- Avoidance to help a fellow participant in distress – disqualification.
- Insulting the organizer or volunteers – disqualification.
- Continue the race after the time limit – disqualification.
- Disqualification can be immediate or upon detection of the irregularity.
Photo and Video
All participants agree with promotional use of photo and video material from the event.
Cancellation and Refunds
IMPORTANT: Participants who are unable to attend the event due to health problems and have already paid the entry fee, can request a partial refund of the entry fee (60% of the payment) at: info@knaptrail.si. Participant must present an official medical document (certificate, medical certificate etc.) when requesting a refund. Refund after December 1st is not possible, regardless of the reason.
The transfer of race numbers between competitors and the change of distances are free of charge until December 1, 2024. From December 1 to December 15, 2024, they will incur a fee of 10 euros. The transfer of the race number can only be done with the written permission of the owner. The amount should be paid to the bank account number SI56 6100 0002 4726 229 (opened on October 2, 2020, DH, d.d.), Sports Club Sportiva, Sallaumines Street 5a, 1420 Trbovlje. After December 1, 2024, it will not be possible to change the contents of the race package (such as the sweater number).
After December 15, 2024, changing the route and transferring the race number will no longer be possible.
If a runner does not participate in the race on January 4, 2025, for any reason, they will also forfeit the race package and all other benefits available to runners. To pick up the race number, it is mandatory for each individual to do so in person with a valid ID. Picking up the race number for someone else is not allowed.
Complaints
The organizer accepts complaints according to the procedure: All complaints must be submitted within half an hour of the arrival to the finish line in written form with a deposit of 20 €. The appeal will be examined by the organizing committee and the answer will be given as soon as possible. There is no appeal against the jury’s decision; the decision is final. Any complaints regarding irregularities during the event must be submitted in written form and with attached documentation (photo material, or at least three witnesses). Deposit will be refunded in case of justified appeal.
The final version of the event manual will be published on the website one month before the event.
